Tranexamic acid (Transamin) can block the lysine binding site of plasmin and the plasminogen fragment derived from elastase.

Tranexamic acid is a protease inhibitor that can inhibit the catalytic effect of proteases on peptide bond hydrolysis, thereby preventing the activity of enzymes such as primordial proteases, and then inhibiting the disorder of epidermal cell function in the dark spots, and inhibiting the melanin enhancement factor group, and then completely cutting off the path of melanin formation due to ultraviolet radiation. That is, dark spots will no longer become thicker, larger, and more, thus effectively preventing and improving skin pigmentation. Compared with general whitening ingredients, tranexamic acid has the characteristics of high stability, acid and alkalinity resistance, not easily affected by temperature environment, no need for carrier protection, not affected by the transmission system, and no irritation.
