It is widely used as a disintegrant for tablets in medicine. It is also widely used as a suspension stabilizer, a complexing agent for drug ingredients, and a complexing agent for tannins and polyphenols in botanical drugs.
2) Cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP-P) can form complexes with phenols and alkaloids, thereby removing them from plant samples, thus preventing modification and interference with proteins, so as to more accurately determine the protein content.
