Diltiazem hydrochloride is a common antihypertensive drug. It is a Class B drug in the National Medical Insurance Catalogue and is a prescription drug. Diltiazem is a benzothiazepine calcium channel blocker, a third-generation antianginal drug and a fourth-generation antiarrhythmic drug. It is mainly used for coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and mild and moderate hypertension.
